Finally got my system ordered!:)
I finally decided what to go with so I placed my order today and everything should be here by Monday! This is what I got:
JL Audio 10" W3 Sub
Kicker ZX300 I channel amp
Subthump Stealth Box
Subthump Bose wiring harness
EFX Amp wiring kit
The guy at subthump told me if I got the harness he offer that I could hook up this sub/amp and still keep my factory Bose cd player and speakers and still sound good. Has anybody done this before? If so is there any tips or tricks that I need to know about before I start the install?
Also how much power wire should I need? The kit I got I believe has 17'. I hope that's enough. How do I take off the door sill pieces so I can run the power wire and rca jacks to the amp?
Can I mount my amp on the center carpeted peice in the back of the car? I've seen pictures where members here has had it done but didn't know if they had fabbed up a piece of wood or just used the factory peice?
How long should it take me to hook my system up? Thanks for all the help!
