Default I need Speaker advice! Thanks!!

I installed a new Alpine 9857 Stereo Head Unit. But I left the Bose speakers...sheeeeze the bose speakers sound weak. Which speakers would you suggest that would replace the stock bose speakers? Front & Back speakers will be replace.

Thanks!

Rainbow Reference. You can probably get them for about $6500 if you look hard enough. Power it with an Audison Thesis amp... runs about $8000.

Remove your window track, and glue your window in place, then make proper door enclosures for the midrange speakers. I'd suggest cutting away the instrument cluster and relocating it to prevent reflections with the tweeter install - if you so choose to do a-pillar install...

That's my not so subtle way of saying... you are missing some very vital information with your question.

What's your:
- budget
- music preference
- install skill/ability

Kale, you know perfectly well one can fabricate a sealed speaker enclosure for the door speakers without touching the window.

He asked for suggestions... He didn't say he had any kind of budget or fabrication limit.

Kale - when you get finished, you should go to the showboat drive-in theatres. Everyone will gather around your car.

WOW...hmmm my budget depends. I'm looking for that are should be in a decent price range. My music preference depends what mood I'm in at the time I'm driving the vette.

Install skill/ability I should say no bad but not to technical.

thanks again!

Define a "decent price range"
Put a dollar amount on it.

I assume you're going to put tweets in the doors with the midranges.

Are you going to put damping material in the doors? An amp?

Without an amp, just go to Best Buy and listen to the $50-100 coaxials and pick what sounds the best to you. None of them will have much bass or get very loud on that Alpine's power.
