Like you said you like the Elemental Designs stuff in your wifes car, ive installed the stuff in alot of vettes with great results. I also you the Polk MOMO line alot. Either one would work great, with that said the Focals are killer speakers. Also you dont have to necessarily go with the JL amp theres tons of other amps out there that work just as well , ED nine.4, polk momo c400.4, alpine pdx 4.100, etc
