Should I install these?

I got these speakers free and I'm wondering if I should bother installing them. They're not the best, but they must be better than stock right?

Anyone know if pre-fab 6.5" adapaters are available for this car?

You won't be happy unless you amplify them,,,, and maybe not then. They aren't bad speakers (for coaxials) but your subs are internally amped and you will lose a LOT of bass unless you amp these as well.

Oh, I already have a Kenwood HU installed with a 10" JL Sub and Amp. Sounds good, but the car seems to have no real front stage.. all the mids/highs come from the rear speakers. Im thinking if I put these free speakers in, it'll sound a little better. Not looking for a big improvement, just an improvement

Yes prefab speaker adapters for the doors are available. Check ebay under "corvette speaker" Would be better to review the forum vendors first to see if they are here then ebay.

We are talking a C-5 right?
