Has Anybody Ever...
I have one, and it sounds like :U with the CDs playing. It sounds decent with radio and actually pretty good with the tape player. But since I mainly listen to CDs, this is what I'm concerned with. The lows and highs are really bad ~ I know they're not great with the bose to begin with, but... the volume is really low with the CDs playing as well.
If you've ever done this, did you shorten your antenna leads? This is really driving me crazy because I like the looks of the stock radio, and I'd rather spend the money on performance parts, but my friggin' pick-up has a better sound than my Corvette and I just can't stand it.

Thanks.
Here is a good deck and speakers. The front speakers you have are 4x6 I think. These front should fit but you would need to cut the panel. I would also look at 41/2 seperates. You probably wouldn't need to cut with those but you will definitely need the amp and they cost more. MB Quart makes those. http://www.mmxpress.com/Pioneer/dehp7300.htm $259
Speakers: http://www.bostonacoustics.com/Produ...=4&SeriesID=26 $149 Front http://www.bostonacoustics.com/Produ...=4&SeriesID=26 $199 Rear
MB Quart speaker adapter: http://www.mmxpress.com/mbquart/4x6.htm
Speaker page for MB for front. You can mount the woofer with the adapter in the door and the tweeters in the dash holes. http://www.mmxpress.com/mbquart/4.htm
This is a good start. You can reduce a bit on the deck if you want. You can also add an amp and make it much stronger.

Now I guess I have another question, if I were to go ahead and purchase a good head unit, could I get a Bose Interface to use the blose speakers with it until I could save up for the speakers and amp? I just bought new rear speakers from a 94, and they sound pretty good, and besides that I doubt I could afford all of this at once anyway.
So do you have any experience with the Bose interface or know someone who has?
