C5 VSS signal

C5 VSS signal
I'm in the middle of doing my AVIC install and in searching here saw that people have intercepted the VSS either at the PCM or the instrument cluster.
Being the lazy SOB that I am, I wanted an easier place to catch this sucker, so dragged out the manuals and looked around.
As it turns out, if you have the ESC module in the left rear storage compartment (I belive this is part of the F45 / F55 package) pin C6 of that module is the VSS signal, and it's easy as pie to get to. This is on my '99, and it's a light green wire.
In fact, since I have to run wires out for the rear camera, and catch running light signal for dimming, and backup light signal, I'll be running a harness to that corner and going out the vent hole behind the side panel right there.
