AM radio poor reception
It seems that I cannot get my local AM stations in my C5. It stinks. I usually like to listen to sports or news sometimes. The same stations come through fine on my jeep cherokee. Anyone else notice this or is it just me? :(

AM reception is poor, I was wondering whether it had to do with the lack of metal in the car (non-metal body). Definately hurts a transmitting antenna.

The tuner module in the Bose HU is the same as in many GM vehicles with the "Auto Tone" HU. If you check out any 95 and newer GM truck with the premium sound system, you can do an A-B comparison. The complicated FM diversity antenna system in the coupe may not pick up as well as a whip on AM. My FRC is about as good as my truck. FRC and Vert have a whip antenna.
