Bose speakers

Has anyone lost their right dash and right door speaker at the same time ... I replaced the stock Bose radio with a Pioneer DEH-77DH ... I thought up-grading the radio would resolve the problem but it didn't ... When I removed the speaker from the door I noticed that it had gotten wet at one time so now I'm contemplating getting all new speakers .

you don't have dash speakers in an 87 with bose.

I guess the speaker covers on the dash are for another type radio system .. first I removed the speaker then the inside of the door but It looks like you have to remove the entire window mechanism to get to and remove the speaker box .. could that be the speaker amplifier Inside the box and below the speaker ? How does it get removed and tested ?
