I had a new audio system installed recently (Pioneer head and JL amp with MbQuart speakers)...
Needless to say, the sound is well, Awesome, But...
I now have an ignition sound coming through the speaker system with the unit powered or unpowered.
Any ideas out there?
I moved this from the C6-Z site at their suggestion. Any help that I can bring back to the installer will be appreciated.

Scoot
This is usually due to a ground problem. Tell the installer to ground the head to the same point as the amp and ONLY that spot. Using multiple grounds will often lead to this kind of noise.
Noise could be anything as stated before -- ground issue, etc.. usually a ground loop isolater in the rca jacks will solve the problem. Now if you have noise even when the headunit is off, it seems that the amps are on even with the radio off. Make sure that is not the case...
