Default Wiring ?

I asked this over on C5 Tech, but didnt get any response,so im counting on you guys for help. I will be installing a JVC KD-NX5000,but wait,im not done yet,air/fuel gauge, fuel pressure gauge, nitrous pressure gauge,LC-1 wideband, and a cartek line/loc. I know for sure that 4 of these have to be wired to switched power.I know there is a switched power wire under the passenger floor. Can i wire all these to that 1 switched power wire? Same way for the gauge & radio lights, can they all be wired to the same light source? I know you guys deal with the corvettes wiring all the time.Probably should have asked here first. Thanks,Guys.

If you are really concerned, just install a $5 relay and you are good for 20-30 amps.

Basically one end of the relay go to a constant 12 volt source (ie at the battery under the hood), part of the relay connects to the switched igntion wire in the footwell, and when you turn the car on the switched ignition wire turns the relay on allowing your stuff to draw power straight from the battery

relay is basically a switch

So the 4 switched power wires that i need to hook up will still connect to the switched power source in the passenger foot well fuse box?

Here is a good read on how relays work:

http://www.autoshop101.com/forms/hweb2.pdf

(I found it in the C5 FAQ where ScottFX posted it.)

I'm not familiar with all of the components that you want to hook up, but if it was me, I would run a dedicated line (with an in-line fuse) from the battery to terminal 30 on the relay, then connect whatever devices you want to be powered to terminal 87. Connect pin 85 to ground, and pin 86 to your switched source (switched harness, ignition, fuse box, etc...) and you should be good to go.

Hope this helps.
