Default winter project

first of all let me start off by saying thanxs to all the guys who put input on this section. this is going to be my set-up eclipse 5500 double din with all the goodies bluetooth and ipod this system will be powered by 500/1 jl on a jl w6, and a 4 channel jbl on focal speakers in front and quantums 6.5 in the rear. i will be posting my progress, today i installed the rear speakers a piece of cake. tomorrow i will try to install the door speakers should be simple already have the speaker mounts. also removed the bezel still debating on which route i will use c-5 kidd or just do the mod where you just cut the cross bar 2 3rd down this way i can still keep my ashtray and save money. still have to decide where to mount the amps . will be listening for imput thanxs. will post pictures when finished.

YES, run at least 4 gauge from the battery to a distribution block and then spilt out to 8 gauge....

make sure you run an inline fuse up near the battery (approx 1 ft from the battery)....

also run that 4 gauge as far as you can before splitting it to the 8 gauge...

Well guys i just returned from best buy to get the install finished and the guy there has to be nuts for the price he quoted me. first of all i have ran all wires and jacks replaced bose speakers and mounted all the amps, all that is left to do is to connect the wires to the amps and hook up the eclipse radio to a already modded double din bezel this guy looks at me and says it is going to be about 600.00 i told him all you have left to do is just connect wires and change out a bracket he said that is the going price foe this type of job again ,guys tell me do you guys think this is a reasonable price
