Default Soundstream Reference 300sx "enough"?

...to power a JL Audio Stealthbox in a C6, in Bridged mode?

Also, will it be sufficient to run to JL 12" infinite baffle subs, wired in parallel at 2 ohms?

No one can comment in this? It should be 200 watts bridged into the Stealth box's 4 ohms, and 300 watts RMS, when Bridged into a 2 ohm load (for the "two 12" system")... according to Soundstream's web site. Go here:
http://www.soundstream.com/manuals/A...0sx/r300sx.pdf

and scroll down to page #6 Or page #9 for specs. Please input.

Should be plenty for the stealth box, but would not put it on two subs. Unless of course you only play at low volume... Not enough power usually means the signal will be distorted therefore causing your speaker to have a shorter life.

Anyhow.

I don't know if SS makes less, more, or even rated power... It's always good to have a little extra power on tap. Otherwise you might not get an acceptable volume. It's better to turn things down than up. That's why I have 1000 watts on my front speakers.

That amp is under-rated, so you will get more out of it than the rated200W, expect around 275W or so at 4 ohms from what I can remember... great amp, just make sure you don't get a bad one as Soundstream went through a bit of a rough period in the mid 90's when their supply couldn't keep up with their demand and their quality suffered as a consequence... every installer I know remembers at least one of them catchin' on fire (loose parts on their boards). Too bad, as they were on the top of the pile back then.

So, yes it will run the stealthbox into the ground, and it can run multiple subs if you would like. The can of worms has been opened...
