Install help with radar detector
Hi. I bought a sunvisor bracket for my Passport 8500 and also the Passport remote mount wiring kit (it has the integrated mute button and LEDs). Car is an '02 Z06 and I plan to mount the mute button inside the coin tray compartment just to the right of the cigarette lighter (I will drill a small hole in the back of it to clear the wires and use velcro as a hold down).
I can handle routing the wires and plugging into the fuse box. My question is how to get the passenger side windshield post cover off? I don't have a service manual (yet) and I was told by a fellow C5 owner that this interior piece will simply pull off. What is the correct procedure so that I don't go breaking stuff?
