Default Install Complete *pics*

Everything is now finished up for the interior. Rock Star designs did all the work and did a great job. I was skeptical at first but the ID 6x9's up from throw out some serious midbass and sound good doing it. The 4 ID8's are perfect for the car. Anyway I couldn't be happier. All the leather on the doors was great and it's nice to get all that crappy titanium look out of there and just have it all blacked out.

I'd say that's a win.

Any chance you could get more shots of the Amp rack from the front? I want to see the emblem thing on it.

What's the equipment you used. I can't tell from the pics. I am awaiting my Vette as we speak to be finished with the new iteration of my system. I will post pics as soon as she is back.

Please list the parts used.

By the way, the install is killer. How does she sound?

Thanks,
Ron

I would love to try the new ID 6x9 speakers, it's too bad they are so damn expensive!

the 6x9's but out some ridiculous midbass. The subs blend well. Not the greatest imaging, but a lil tweaking here and there helps. Plus this is SQ comp car anyway. It's a loud *** rocket ship.

Well if you ever want to improve imaging, you can tilt up the 6x9s and move the tweeters to the a-pillars or into the kick panels.

Or playing with phase can help a ton too

Meant to say this is not an SQ comp car anyway.... I haven't really played with the eq or timining at all. I've been real busy the past couple of days, but as is it's phenominal. I can't get over the midbass and output from the 6x9s. Tonality of the ID8's is such a nice change from having two Digital Design 9515's

yup, a 6x9 is basically an 8" speaker.

Very nice setup you've got there!

Rocky was telling me about your install and how good the 6x9's sounded...

I'm sure you're enjoying your stereo just as much as I am with mine!

Demo? I live in NW Houston and would love to hear this beast. Then again if I hear it I am sure my wallet will be empty and Rocky's will be fatter.

$579 doesn't seem to bad. I've been looking for door speakers , checked out the Focal 165kp2 (a little bright for me) and the Dynaudio 362 ( don't think I want to mess w/ the complications of a 3 way). So these are at the top of my short list. They are getting good reviews. Anyone else tried them.
