C6 Wiring Harness Question
I know people have said the GMCO wiring harness will work with a C6 without Onstar and the Bose unit. Does anyone know whether the Metra GMRC-02 will also work? Thanks!

Don't remember seeing that one being used before, but it appears to be the non-onstar version of the GMOS-04, which does work. But sorry, can't give you anything more definitive than that.

I don't want to take any chances so I'm going to go ahead and order either the Metra GMOS-04 or the Periperhal GMCO. Which one is more highly recommended? My C6 does not have Onstar or the Bose system

just make sure that if you get the GMOS-04 it has a "06/07" marked on the the front of the label.
There was a metra send back on all those parts due to a failure in the module. It has since been corrected, and all "new" modules have the "06/07" on the front

Just as any FYI - the Corvette class II radios are non-amplified(base & Bose both). That doesn't mean the GMOS-02 will work of course. And having the reverse & VSS wires in the harness are more than worth $20 to my mind.
