Default C5 Double Din Question

I bought the GMCRV2 and got all the speaker wires soldered up. Where does the Orange/White
To lighting switch terminal and Car speed signal input wire connect?

From the faq

I have a navigation h/u that has to connect to a speed sensor wire, where is it?
You will have to tap into the harness on the instrument cluster. You need to find the Green/white (A7-circuit 817) with a tan/white (A6-circuit 33) above it and a black (A8-circuit 150 ) below it..The other green/white (A10-circuit 357) oil temp has a blank and a gray on each side.

The wire for Illumination is needed to be tapped into the HAVC behind it in the wire harness. Its a cream colored wire on one end of the harness. There's a pic in the FAQ about this.

About the Speed Control wire, I tapped into the green/white stripe wire in the stock wire harness for the original stock sterreo. The stock sterreo uses the speed to adjusts the volume as you increase your speed. I believe someone posted a pic of that wire. I tapped into it for my avic d3 and I have no error messages and I checked the wire connection in the menu of the avic d3 and it said "Connected" and it displays my speed.

Its easy to install, I thought it was going to be hard, but its not really.

Thanks for the info guys. Finished up the install last night and everything works perfectly! I went ahead and tapped into the VSS wire behind the insturment cluster and did the blue LED mod to the side controls while I had the cluster out.
