Default Background for AVIC

Does anyone know how to put a custom background on an AVIC-D3. I followed the directions in the pioneer manual. It did not work. I am also running Vista on my computer. Any Suggestions...
Thanks...

check out this site www.avic411.com you need to register in order to view all of the posted pics and backgrounds for the z series... lots of good info there for the Pioneer units... i have a z2 and am very happy with it except of the slow ipod interface.... i did read a post there a while back about a way to set up play lists so you can access music faster...

The CD/DVD burning capabilities in Vista are different when compared to previous versions of MS Operating Systems (i.e. XP).

You need 3rd party CD/DVD burning software in order to make CD's/DVD's that can be recognized by your AVIC D3.

Another thing...do exactly as the Avic manual says. Mine wouldn't read the CDRW because my folder was titled "Pictures" and not "PICTURES" (minus the quotes, of course). Once I fixed that it worked fine...but I used my laptop which is running XP. Next time I'll try my home computer which is Vista .

Realize you were asking about method, not media, but had these from my car pc googling. If anyone needs.

The Vista program reformat's CD for you even burn any pictures to it. I did the Vista program first and the AVIC would not read the CD. Went to the office and Loaded all the pictures form the XP Computer and everything worked like charm...
