Static/Hum Sound Through The Speakers?!?!

Static/Hum Sound Through The Speakers?!?!
I have a weird static sound through the speakers when I open the door while the car is turned off. It's very annoying and sounds like a constant hum. It will also do this when the car is turned on with no music playing through the speakers. What gives? Do all C5's do this? It did this even when I had no CD deck installed the car and it's doing the same with one installed right now 
any insight?

any insight?I don't know the C5 setup at all, so that's just some general info for you.

ya it's an aftermarket one right now... but it still did it when there was no deck installed at all as well doing it while the car is completely turned off without a key in the iginition... suppose that's still a bad ground wire?

It's a ground issue. A wire is the mostly likely, but it could be a problem in the amp itself. The wiring is where to start.
