An airspace difference of .1 cu ft. in a small vented enclosure is very critical.... you technically would need to lengthen your port to compensate, but that is not recommended... you may be able to change your alignment if the sub you are using will work... assuming you have a sub that is perfect for this application (many are not). There are a few tricks for this application, but they are very sub-dependant.
more info. on your enclosure design will be needed for a better tech answer. If you bought your sub from a reputable manufacturer, their tech dept. can be good for the DIY.
you will change your tuning frequency. I would model it up both ways (approximation) using winisd and see if the response is acceptable.
also consider the airspace taken up by the port material, the port, and the sub.
