Replacing stock C5 radio.
Where can I find radios that would be a direct replacement for the stock radio in a C5. I understand them to be din-1/2 is this correct? I've been having trouble finding din-1/2. What have you guys been using?

1.5 DIN (or "din and a half" radios are hard to come by) Most Radios are 1-DIN size and the install kits for the Corvette bring it down to a 1-DIN without looking to strange. Some install kits have lighting and such. I prefered to use the extra space for an additional sound processor.

Any recommendations? I'm not really interested in DVD or touch screen features. Just something simple that won't look to out of place in the car, like aftermarket radios tend to do.

i'm looking into the pioneer premier deh-p880prs (or the deh-p800prs when it comes out) for my daily driver. elegant looks and a lot of features to boot. not the best in soundquality but it's no slouch either.

I have ordered a custom plate from Humount.com that fills the space and allows the use of any single DIN radio/stereo. Don't have a picture but visit their website. Very nice stuff.
