radio install help
I am installing a pioneer deh-p77dh pioneer hu in my z06 and have a few wiring questions.
Where do you hook up the orange/white wire (lighting source)
Where do you hook up the red wire (ignition)

They should be on the stock harness. Wire the test light to ground (black or the battery ground) and then test the wires. Leave the door open and turn the key on and off for Ignition. I believe its pink or yellow. The lights I think are blue or pink. Again, test these for power turning the lights on and off. Its been years since I had to wire one up so I don't remember all the colors anymore.

I just replaced my Bose system in my 91. You can use a test light or a volt meter. You need a constant power line for memory, ignition only for power (probably for your red wire), connect a jumper from your constant power wire to whatever wire works the antenna, (antenna wire), then find the wire with power with lights on only, (lights wire). Be sure to wire grounds to ground wire in old harness. Good luck. If I can do it, you should be able to do it too.
