Valenine One Problem in C5
Hey guys,
for some reason I can never get my V1 to work properly in my vette. It beebs constantly, does work 1/2 the time but always beeping. I use it daily in my truck and never have a problem so I know it works fine. I also thought it was my nav antenna interfering with it, but I took it out didn't change a thing. I have an internal am/fm antenna mounted to the inside of my windshield (shaved the external one off). Is this whats causing it or any suggestions of to why its not working or whats interfering with it? Thanks in advance

Probably need a little more information to get an idea of what's going on. Where is it mounted ? What alert are you getting, X,K,KA, Laser ? Does your Vette have the HUD ? If it's laser, I remember reading in the V1 manual that certain brake lights could set off the alert, so try turning the HUD off. If it's a band, then try disconnecting the internal antenna.
