first off make sure ur turn on lead is connected in the main harness
you will need to splice rca ends in to plug into the preouts on ur radio
LF tan/black
RF lt green/black
LR brown
RR dk blue
comon lt blu
i believe you can get away with only connecting 2 of the channels, which 2 it is i dont remeber. id try just the front channels otherwise do all 4

correct.... you are only using 5 wires all next to eachother
and like i said if i recall you only need to connect one pair of them. connecting just the FL and FR should get you the bose subs along with the common. now i have no clue if the bose amp has low pass built in or not so you might wanna connect em to the sub out of ur radio and enable your low pass filter to 80 or 100hz

metra 70-2004 isnt the expensive and should work without splicing
the picture thats shown for the harness is wrong i installed one for a customer its a 2 part harness. the 2nd part has the rcas and matches the bose plug and the other main harness is the same as a regular gm harness
