I am getting ready to install a Kenwood DNX8120 in my '08 coupe with Bose. I have the Peripheral GMAH24B along with the GMAHCM. In reading through the instructions from Peripheral, it states that only the front speaker wires from the HU are connected to the GMAH24B with the bose amp. Is this correct or should all four wires be connected?

Don't use the speaker wires, use the RCA outputs from the radio, you'll get a better quality signal sent to the amp that way.
I can't dig up the PDF online for that unit right now, their site isn't working correctly, but only plugging in the fronts doesn't seem correct. If the harness has plugs for front & rear, hook 'em both up.

Need a chime module
If you started with the Bose system, I think you need the optional chime module also.
The chimes don't work in my 2005 with the 24B setup (AVIC D1 Pioneer).
I am actually thinking about going back to the Bose 6 CD radio/changer.
Don't use the Nav system enough.

In his original post he states that he got the GMAHCM, which is the chime module you must have along with the GMAH24B. Which of the Peripheral modules you use is determined by the presence of Onstar, not Bose.
