You could probably do this. The hardest part would be the grounding. Make sure you run a ground strap from the antenna to the frame. I would look and see if their is room in your body where the power antenna from an '82 was installed. Then get an '82 antenna and go for it. You may need to cut and plug. Look behind the tirewell liner to check. Also, check the boneyards for brackets to make sure they are compatable before you cut. You will probably have to either install an aftermarket deck with a power antenna out to activate it or you could install a switch and relay and do it manually.
