1LT Radio to '08 factory radio?
I have used the search feature with no result so here's my question:
Can I change out my 2006 base 1LT single disc AM/FM radio for a 2008 Corvette 6 disc, AM/FM unit?
If the trade can be made, I understand that a Chevy dealer will need to re-program security code settings to allow the radio to play.

Easily Do-Able confirmed!
Thanks for the responses! I decided to take the plunge and remove the old radio (I've removed the center console before so it was no big trick this time).
It was a simple swap; I tested the "new" '08 radio with the car in Accessory Mode and everything worked as it should (IPOD, etc.).
Unfortunately, when I turned the engine on, the radio display read "LOCKED" so I guess I'll have to make it over to the dealer after all... RATS!
Oh well! Took a little under an hour - beats paying the dealer to do it I suppose.
Thanks again for the replys
