Default Anyone running a system with an under drive pulley?

I am thinking about installing the under drive pulley on my C6. I see that it is a good "band for your buck" upgrade. But I have an audio system.

Here is what I have...

Eclipse AVN6610 In-dash DVD receiver/navigation system
JL Audio 300/4 + JL Audio 500/1
JL Audio Stealth box with 10w3v2
Alumapro component speakers in front
Infinity Kappa speakers in the rear

I am worried that if I install the pulley that I am going to hurt the audio system. Anyone running a sound system with the pulley? Any adverse effects?

Only reason I worry...

my friend's 2000 Camaro SS.
Installed the pulley with a audio system....

We noticed that the window wouldn't roll up fast, the lights would dim more when bass hit, and the alternator went out because of the stress (i assume because of the power needs of the audio system)

IMO ur askin for issues with the kinda power your running.
I would do the big 3 regardless but deff do it if ur gonna try underdrive pulleys.

I know on fbodys there are huge charging problems with UD pulleys

i put in a UD on mine while doing a cam and the car is over 13v at idle@875rpm. no charging issues here or slow electric operations. Even with the A/C on its not an issue. I've got the big 3 upgrade as well. you can also get the pulley for the alternator that is supposed to reverse the effects of a UD pulley if you are worried about it.

I believe some underdrive kits come with a smaller alternator pulley. March Performance had such a kit for my 97 silverado.
