is giving me the nav system out of his 07 Z06. what is needed to install in my 07 coupe with the premium 6cd sytem??

IIRC the premium 6CD means you have Bose. So that means it's nearly a direct swap. You need the GPS antenna (check with Gene at gmpartshouse.com) and you need is to take it to a dealer to have the Tech II programming done to change the VIN lock.
