dash removing questions
trying to remove the dash in my 94 vette but i can't figure out what you have to remove first to get to the cd player part... please let me know which you have to unscrew first to get it out... I have gotten the console part apart and have the shifter part undone to now except for getting the shift **** off, but i don't know what to remove next... thanks for any help

If you have the shifter console up, the next step is the trim panel around the deck. My dash is slightly different but in mine, you remove the vent above the radio to access a screw for the panel. Then you remove the two screws at the bottom of the trim piece, and last you pop it off as it is held by two clips behind the plastic. It should be similar if not the same for yours. After this you should have a clean shot at the deck screws.

when removing the vent above the radio what kind of type of screw driver or whatever do you use to get the 2 screws out???, I have tried a hex type kind and can get them to budge and i don't want to strip them.
