Default Need Help! Interfacing Pioneer CD Deck into Bose Speaker System

I purchased a pioneer deck, same one in the corvette catalogs and the Scosche Interface Adapter and the wiring harness they sell from the catalog. Everything wired up by the colors with no problems. When I turned on the system the rears worked fine but the fronts would shut down after 1/2 second. Then when I move the adapter or the wires it would pop but not come on like it was a bad connection. Rechecked every connection and they are all good but the fronts still don't work. Figured I would put it back together and judt run the rears with the front s unplugged for the day to run errands. but while running it for about 10 minutes I started to smell something burning and shut it down and took it out. Any help at all or suggestions on what is going wrong is GREATLY appreciated!

You fried either your deck or your amps. They are not compatable. The siring harness adapter is just made to get your deck power. You need to run new wires to the speaker locations and install new speakers or buy a converter and install that. It costs 50-100$ from audiolink and sounds crappy. Hopefully you fried the deck and not the amps. The deck is not so hot. Panisonic is what GM used in the bose unit. Get a Pioneer 4300 for $200. It will destroy any panisonic. Then install new speakers and remove the bose stuff. You can sell it to recoupe some of your losses.
