Default Dash removal on a C5?

Can someone walk me through the dash removal process? I would like to get into the middle air vent and be able to run wires from the vent to the fuse box in the passenger foot well. How hard is this going to be and how long will it take? Also any special tools I will need? TIA

If I understand you correctly U can easily get to the HVAC venting system behind the center console where the HU and HVAC controls are. The back wall of this area is literally the vent that goes up to the center vent and splits down to the passenger leg vents. I found this out the hard way when upgrading my stereo - the top position in the console does not have much depth due to this vent wall in the back.

Hope this helps!
