Ok, time to put forth the aftermarket navigation system you guys purchased and how well they work and how much you like it. Plus, what would you change. Lets help those out that are still with out and looking to but one.... myself included

Garmin, hands down, fuggetaboutit. Which if you want it built-in to the head unit means Kenwood.
I have an Alpine IVA-W205 with the Blackbird NAV and it has slowly frustrated the hell out of me. It works, but that's all the credit I'll give it. It's better than C6 factory NAV but the factory NAV in my brother's 07 GMC Acadia is better than the Alpine.. and that's just sad.

I put the Alpine in my truck thinking it would be a great purchase and was very disappointed. I kicked myself for not just getting another Kenwood with the Garmin setup. I did however put the Kenwood in the Vette and have never looked back. Great setup.
I have the Pioneer AVIC-Z3, and am on the fence about it. It's a nice unit, but is lacking several features and has some quirks. From a navigation standpoint, it doesn't pick the best routes (wants me to drive THROUGH D.C. to get from home to school....lol), and the time estimate is always way off, even though I've changed the road speeds to better estimates.
I've heard that Kenwood navis are very good, since they use Garmin mapping. Not sure about the head-unit quality of those though.
Don't have my own, but just got back from a trip where a friend had a Garmin Nuvi, and it worked great. Small, navigated well, and I guess that's all that matters! I don't know anything about the pricing tho.
