It's almost a sure bet that stock size RCA cables will never be the perfect size for any install given that they usually come in 1m incriments.
Who trims their RCAs to the perfect length? I'm going to be doing the final version of my system in the next couple of weeks and i'm wondering if it's worth the effort to cut them down to a reasonable slack length.

I usually buy the raw components and make my own to the perfect length. For the price of name-brand interconnects, you can buy better components and make your own. If you want pre-made units, try going with a non-automotive intended, no-name brand and get bettr cables for the same money. bluejeanscable is one web-based company I have used on occasion.
