I just rode in my neighbor's '08 ZO6. He has a 2LZ with the factory NAV. I'd planned on ordering my '09 3LZ with the factory NAV, despite the fact that it does not have an IPOD connection because I thought the NAV would be decent enough to meet my needs, but certainly not perfect. Little did I know how messed up the XM radio sound is with that thing! Pathetic! No stereo? So, here is what I need to know-If I order my 3LZ with the "normal" Bose w/6 disc, will I have Bluetooth as well? I want to insure that I have the Bluetooth/phone controls on the steering wheel as is now being included with the NAV option in '09. I'm immediately going to put the Kenwood 8120 unit in, and want to make sure that all steering wheel controls work, including the ones for Bluetooth with that unit. Wow, that factory unit is much worse than I thought! I'm glad I found out about the XM issue. What was GM thinking? AND to not have it updated/fixed by now? I'm in dis-belief.
I just found part of my answer in the '09 Corvette brochure. I will have Bluetooth controls on my steering wheel regardless-with 3LZ. Now the question is, will ALL steering wheel controls, to include Bluetooth, work with the Kenwood? I'm pretty sure the audio controls do, it's the Bluetooth controls that I'm questioning.
I am in the same boat. Ordered '09 Z w/o NAV on purpose since I planned to install the 8120. When I went to order the GMAH24B module I discovered it wasn't compatible with the 2009 model. I emailed peripheral to see when an update would be available but was told they don't have any info on the '09s yet and there is no ETA on an update. At least there is an IPOD jack on my head unit to tide me over.

I just checked again and the website still says "not compatible with the 2009 model". It's been six months!
Does anyone know of an alternative to the GMAH24B?
I have a non-nav 09 W/bluetooth controls on wheel, I too ordered without nav planing to change to the Kenwood unit, my aftermarket shop told me that none of the Kenwood, Pioneer, etc. aftermarket units will use the wheel bluetooth controls and they want to add a stick on bluetooth controller. Is there any way to retain the stock 09 wheel controls with an aftermarket unit???
My guess here - they're saying that for CYA because they haven't tested it. I haven't heard anything to tell me that they have changed the data bus, which is the key. You WILL lose the factory bluetooth and perhaps that's what they truly mean by saying it's not compatible but I'm not certain.
My best educated guess is that the GMAH24 will work just fine. And don't forget to get the GMAHCM as well for the chimes.
As far as the BT controls on the wheel, I would guess no on that.
That's a bummer cause I've found that I use the bluetooth controls 10x more than the stereo controls. Fingers crossed that the update for '09 will come soon... till then I guess I'll stick with stock.

I wouldn't be holding your breath. Odds are that the compatibility list will just get updated to include 2009 and the BT button still won't work. They'll have to update the steering wheel modules somehow for the extra button, but the GMAH24 will work as before.
