Stock HU single sub/amp for sub only.RCA split behind HU to L&R front.
Problem is when car is running the driver front has a slight whine to it.Louder with revs.Unhook both RCAs and it is gone.Unhook either one and it is still there.Car not running no whine at all and none from the right front at anytime.
Check the Amplifier ground. The ground wire should have metal to metal contact. Also, make sure the amplifier power wire is routed away from the RCA audio lines.
That's what I thought also but PentaVolvo says it's in the RCA's.The ground wire is on the passeneger rear seat track under the nut but on top of the track.
u could try a ground loop isolator might help but prly not, something is backfeeding from ur amp to radio. try tieing the light blue common wire to a frame ground on the radio or unhook the common all together and use frame ground might fix it, ive had weird issues every once and a while
otherwise sven2 or sven4 will isolate the 2 circuits
Ground Loop Isolator stopped the noise 100% for me.Eeven with my aftermarket HU and running the RCAs to the Bose subs I still got amp feedback. The GLI still stopped it.
