Not sure about that for music, but for what you pay for that feature you could buy an iPod or other MP3 player and hook it to practically any of the heads on the market and have way more flexibility in how you use it than just being stuck on the HDD in the car. I have a Kenwood 8120 and it has the Garmin NAV software stored on an internal drive that it runs from, not a disc. That leaves the slot for DVD's or CD's.
