Just wanted to give a shout out to Greg, who did some minor surgery to the Bose system...changed out the front/back and eliminated the center. He suggested the Polk speakers and that's what we put in.

Sounds much better and he did it all within 1 1/2 hours and at a VERY reasonable price.

What Polk speakers did you use?

I used the db351 for the door and db521 for the rears. They sound much better than the factory Bose and I'm very pleased.

Cool! I just got a set of db351s for my dad's 08 for christmas!

Did you rewire the back or are they both on the same channel still or do you have a non-nav 4 channel amp??

We are going to just change the fronts and disconnect the dash speaker and then if he wants more we are going to put an amp in and rewire for 4 channels and then put better rear speakers in...
