C5 Door Mounting Plates
Does anyone have any experience with these plates from Southern Car Parts or something similar? I'm in the process of gathering parts for a stereo install in my '01 Z and thought something like these might keep it simple for the install shop I am going to. No point trying to reinvent the wheel. Thanks for any input.

I wanted a set of plates for my car, and I knew that "The Komoman" had been building a kick-*** set of plates for the C6 crowd. He didn't have a C5 to work with, so I sat down and designed a set that would work for us.

I can't vouch for "Southern Car Parts" in any way. For what it's worth, they have never asked for my permission to use my photos in any way whatsoever.

The Komoman makes damned good speaker plates, no doubt. They are very rigid, strong, and have worked very well for me over the past year or so. No complaints. Feel free to ask me anything you want about the plates.
