Default 01 Vert Audio Setup

I know this has been done to death. I have read so many threads and reviews may head is about to explode . But with so many options I figured Id post what I'm thinking of installing and make sure there isn't any major objections.

Head Unit Alpine idx-100
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=19353

Front spkrs- Fosgate p162s
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=14401

Rear spkrs (like that tweets and be mounted on spkr)- Fosgate p152s
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=14400

Amp- Alpine pdx5
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=19611

Alpine Sub-SWS1243D (already have so can't change)
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=18144

Trying to keep cost for major parts around $1000.

Thanks

I do see one problem with your setup. The Alpine iDA-X300 only has one 2v preout. With only one preout and using a 5 channel amp, you will be splitting that signal several times and drastically reducing your output, along with loosing your fade or subwoofer volume control. You would be way better off with at least the iDA-X200 or iDA-X100. They have 3 preouts for front, rear, and subwoofer.

With the top down I agree because the top blocks the rear speakers. Top up, though, I respectfully disgree.
