Problem with remote door lock

I installed a new head unit in my 2000 convertable. I had a couple of issues, but got everything straight now. For some reason now the remote to lock/unlock doors, open trunk, and alarm is not working. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

prly gotta reprogram remotes, off hand i dont know how to but i thought it was something like hold down lock and unlock for a few secons till car honks but not certain

If the battery was disconnected, you're right on the money.

Just hold 'lock' and 'unlock' for about 10 seconds... you will see your lights flash and your horn should honk, indicating that your FOB is resynched.
