I do not know how concerned you are with sound reproduction and its accuracy, but generally speaking to properly present a "sound stage" in your car, you would attempt to aim those tweets across the dash almost at each other. To minimize the reflections from the windshield, aim them slightly out into the cabin.
The high frequency range is very directional, and with your current arrangement the drivers side will overpower the passenger side by quite a bit. If you are not using time alignment (and a lot of it), what you are currently listening to could sound better. If you like it how it is, enjoy it man, as your ears are the only ones that matter.

fej, these tweets (RE XXX) work much better on axis. Stage is dead center, wide and deep . Yeah, I have a little processing. Close your eyes and they disappear. still have a little fine tuning, but it sounds awesome.
Randy, used 2'' pvc caps, lamp rod and truck bed coating. depending on your tweet, you might wanna use 1.5" caps. This is my buddy's truck, w/Dynaudio Eostars.

Thanks! I played with the aiming for 6 months. Even tried some vifa D26NC55's. They sounded best pointing at the rearview, but the RE's were better.
This is the first step in a total revamp. Gonna try some competitions in the spring.
Thanks!
Used lamp rod. (Threaded, hollow tube) Glued in the pod, nutted on the back of the a-pillar.
Wow, looks good, thanks for sharing.
I made a set of these yesterday, the tweeters (Focal TN-52's) fit perfect into a set of 1-1/2" caps, had to do just a little grinding w/ the dremal on the inside of the caps. I still have to paint them.
