2008 C6 Aftermarket Headunit Nav Replacement...
Ok, I just removed my factory nav and gps antenna (hardest part of install was getting this sucker out) out of my 2008 C6 and replaced it with my AVIC F-900BT (this system rocks other than taking about 45 seconds to boot up with latest 2.0 update). Install was simple and straight forward. All I heard was AWFUL things about the GMOS-04 wiring harness. I have Onstar and Bose and install was very easy...plug and play!!! ****NOTE**** the only cutting you have to do is put a small relay in line on the wiring adapter. You cut the blue/white wire and install the relay. Other than that, this install was super easy and sound is GREAT!!!!
So, for anybody out there (like I was) the GMOS-04 kit will work (1 more note I used the NEW redeisgned unit with NEW packaging---old unit may have been what was causing everybody some problems).....
