Alpine components question
Had the Alpine SPR 17S components installed and powered by an Alpine PDX 4.1 amp.The speakers sound good but I had no other speakers to compare them too. I only cranked them up to about two thirds volume.The speakers seem to play really clean and I set the base to 4 and the treble to 1 or 2 at the most.The highs are too high even at the lower setting. Can the setting on the tweeters be cut down alittle to my taste? Are those settings adjustable at the amp?

I checked out the owners manual and it said crossover freq variable 1/2ch 30-400hz(-12dB/oct) 3/4 ch 30-400hz (-12dB/oct). There is a crossover adjustment **** on the amp but I didnt take off the cover to see what setting it is at.Since I don't know anything about freq crossover,I didn't touch the amp settings.My main complaint is that the highs are a little too high for me. Thanks for your help. Larry
