Toasted IPOD - Coincidence??
Last week I completed the installation of my DNX5120 into my 96CE. Everything worked great! These devices are so cool. I left my IPOD connected (via the proper cable) all week, but did not use it. I installed my backup camera today and I programmed a new start-up screen requiring several on/off cycles until I got it right. My IPOD will not work and neither the DNX5120 nor my computer will recognize it when I plug it in. Coincidence...or did I do something bonehead? The IPOD is about 3 years old and was rarely used before now, so the battery would drain down often. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I used to have an ipod interface with my 06 tahoe and that happened on a regular basis if I left the iPod connected when I shut the vehicle off. I would then have use the reset feature of the iPod to get it going again. Never figured out why though. Sounds familiar.
