Hey Waltz, I have a question for you.
Waltz-I love my new Blaupunkt San Jose except for the "chirps" sounds I hear very intermittently when playing some my mp3 discs (variable bit). The "chirps" repeat in the same spot when replayed. Have you experienced this? I have a friend with a portable machine that experiences similar problems. When the same MP3 disc are played on the PC, they play flawlessly.
I might try converting to continuious bit, or start using the WMA format. Do you any suggestions? I doubt the problem is with the Blaupunkt player.

No idea. Probably the Blau player. Blau is one of the most poorly made brands available. Aiwa is better. I'd upgrade to a good deck like a Kenwood or a great deck like an Alpine. Probably solve your problem and sound a heck of alot better as well. The last time Blau made good decks your car was new.

Update! I converted the same music from variable bit to continuous bit MP3 and the problem went away. The Blaupunkt San Jose doesn’t lit like variable bits format.
Thanks, Dan
