Carpet underlayment sond deadener
OK, I've searched and read the threads, followed the links to suppliers, etc. and I believe I have TMI.
Where I am at is: 87 Coupe, Old carpet and jute removed except for the tunnel. Can somebody give me a step by step from the floorboards up on what materials to apply, in what order? My objective is to reduce the roar of the road and exhaust, not build a concert hall. I have a new Willcox carpet set to install on the top. I don't know how much material can go under it without creating problems installing the carpet. And, should I remove the jute from the tunnel (it's in good shape and appears to be one piece from floorboard to floorboard) I have not removed all of the center console parts under the dash area but have the basic console and related covers off.
