Only '08's and up have AUX jacks that let you easily plug in an iPod. All others require some sort of modification or add-on. Click the Audio FAQ link in my signature below and do a find on iPod and you'll see some links to info.

Yes, but you will then have to take it to the dealer and have Tech II programming performed to marry the head unit to your car. All the head units are locked to the VIN of the car in the BCU. There is NO getting around this programming, and yes, the dealer will charge you for it.
