Default Covering bose emblem C6

I have pulled out the whole bose system in my C6....except for the bose emblems on the doors.

Any suggestions on covering them? The Morel logo's I have aren't nearly big ebough. I would be willing to cover with Alpine or JL, too.

Thoughts? Ideas??

I am still looking for a way to cover or replace the Bose emblems on the door speaker panels. Anyone?

If someone can fabricate a part for this application or has ideas I am all ears!

With the door panels off, the Bose Emblems can be removed easily.

But then there is a obvious area where something is suppose to be. I want that area covered by a morel logo, which is too small to cover it laterally.

Finally a question I know the answer to.
1st take one of the Bose emblems off.
2nd take a photo copy of the Morel logo you want and reduce it to the size you need, preferably a black and white line drawing.
3rd look in the yellow pages for a silversmith, or jeweler who does silver repairs, if you cannot find one take your picture and the emblem to your favorite jeweler, ask nicely if he could produce an emblem like the bose one in brass (and nickel plate it) or silver. I am sure he (or she would be more than happy to do them in gold, but it's over $1000 an ounce again). You are probably looking at 3 hours worth of work, figure $60 an hour, the silver will be a very small part of the price.
Or you could try it your self. Get a piece of brass from the hardware or hobbie store the thickness you need. A jeweler's saw frame, and probably 3 dozen 1/0 or 2/0 saw blades, and a sawing station. Cut your outline close to the logo, put elmers glue on the back then stick it on to the metal. Let it dry. The sawing station will probably have a C type clamp, find a suitable table or desk edge and clamp it down. The saw blades look like wire, you may need a magnifying glass to see the teeth, they go in the frame teeth pointing down. Set the piece of metal on the station, take the saw in your and and pull it down, you'll want to keep the saw pretty close to straight up and down it only cuts on the down stroke. Yes you'll break saw blades, then just follow your outline, and you'll have your emblem. Then use sand paper, needle files and your dremel to polish it up.
If you cannot find someone local let me no and maybe I can do them for you.
Phil
