It lights up, the buttons seem to function. But I have no sound. I checked for loose wires, all seems fine. I tried using a CD, it plays, but no sound. Any ideas?
Also, If it's really dead, and I decide to go aftermarket with a Double Din, where's the best place to get a new bezel? Thanks guys. Yes, i've tried to find the answers before asking, hehe.
You could have blown the relay for the speakers, or the CDM could have taken a dump. Best thing to do is read the C4 sticky at the top of the section, and see if you can figure out what happened.
Sorry, I don't have an FSM (Factory Service Manual) for a '96. On my '90, there are a relay's on a bar that runs across the dash on the pass side, you would need to remove the hush panel on the pass side to see it.
Try doing a search on "radio relay" in the C4 Tech section.
