I'm going to be installing a Delco 12 disc changer soon as my car did not have this option installed. My service manual shows at least one of the CD changer plugs located by the right rear courtesy light. I did a quick dig around in the center storage and the little right side storage and only found plastic. Any hints? Also where is the other plug located? Thank you. Ron :seeya
The two connectors you need are located in the passenger footwell. Nothing is in the back of the car. The changer harness plugs into the changer (single plug) and splits into two plugs in the pass footwell area.
Run the wire down the passenger side, behind the seat, and under the door trim. If you stretch the cable out first, you will see how much length you have and you can see where you have to run it.
Leave no slack when you pull the wire. You will see wire ties in the car, pass side, where the factory would have run the wire.
